Opened in June 2004, to mark the occasion with the World year of Physics, “Microcosm with a view” is a permanent scientific exhibition at Parma. It was mounted in collaboration with Istituto nazionale di fisica nucleare (INFN), Istituto materiali per l’elettronica e il magnetismo and Consiglio europeo per le ricerche nucleari (CERN).
By visiting “Microcosm” you can get close to the world of elementary particles and become scientist. This hands-on exhibition has a number of attractions and devices working regularly to your delight and with them you can actually perform live experiments. Come and take a trip to the microcosm to discover the mysteries of the subatomic world with “Microcosm with a view”!
